Instructor Tony DeLuca is internationally recognized as one of the foremost professionals in the use of this ancient technique. He published his book, Cuttlebone Casting with Confidence in 2019 and teaches at Georgian College’s Jewellery Program. This class is two, two and a half hour sessions beginning May 29th from 6pm to 8:30 pm and finishing the following Wednesday night, June 5th 6 to 8:30pm. Students will learn the basic techniques in the first session and will spend the second session applying what was taught week one. Comes with some cuttlebone and pewter. Silver available for purchase as needed.

This two session class will teach students the ancient technique of carving a cuttlebone mould and pouring various metals to create amazing textures. Each student will complete at least one piece. Some materials included in this beginners level course.
